Fairy-Tale Stories
The CD is a travel of a kind, a unique kaleidoscope of changing characters and landscapes painted by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, the genius of the Romantic symphonic music, Maurice Ravel, a hallmark representative of impressionism, and Václav Trojan, a Czech composer and one of the prime contributors to the world of the accordion. The three cycles offer an abundance of colours and stories which open the listener to the long-forgotten memories. Their common denominator is the strength of musical expression which awakens the senses, opens up the imagination, and becomes a transmitter of emotions emanating straight from the depth of the program content.
This CD is also the fruit of years’ long passion, interests, and search pursued by duoAccosphere. It is a full-dimensional phonographic debut of the ensemble, and introduces all the recorded compositions into public circulation in this particular arrangement for the first time.
